Breed: Desert Unicorn
Height: 15.1hh
Gender: Stallion
Build: Slightly more stocky than some other desert unicorns. He is built lower to the ground with stronger hindquarters that help lighten his foreend and makes him an ideal candidate for quick turning as well as longer distanced runs.
Colour: Deneskin is a rich crimson hue for the base of his coat with lighter undertones of dark golden that seem most present in his flanks, behind his elbow, the front of his chest and at his throat. Dapples of near-white freckle his sides all over, with ribbing along his sides that hints at a Rabicano expression. He shows no other signs of white markings. Eyes are an eerie lime hue on a dark-masked muzzle. Mane and tail are completely white.
Discipline: Unbroken.
Age: Equivelent to 9 mortal equine years.
Personality: A more timid personality that borders on dangerous at times. He tends to shy away from objects of little significance when he first spies them, making him unpredictable. With a steady hand, he overcomes this fear and grows increasingly confident as time goes on. Due to his shyness he is only sometimes playful, quickly the target for any aggression from more dominant horses (including mares). Among humans he trusts he seems a different animal completely. Kind and gentle with a curiosity that does not seem to find limits. Amongst barnmates and good companions he is loyal and affectionate. During breeding season he is seperated, and this reveals anxiety that comes about only during that time of year. It is his slight lack of confidence that has left him unridden up until this point. As of yet, they are unsure if his shyness is a genetic trait or one born of bad experiences as a youngling.
Genetic Traits: The red in his coat is resessive, but the golden yellow/orange beneath that tends to be quite dominant and not easily overpowered. The dapples in his coat possess a chameleon type behavior, oftentimes picking up colors from the mare's genetics or even varying in color on different points of the body.
Breeds to: Full-blooded unicorns, half unicorns, and lighter-built mares (Arabians, Thoroughbreds, Mustangs, etc)
